ぶろぐのあたま

フォッサマグナと同じような性に関することは、しばしば生徒の間では話題に上がった。
あるとき、ビートルズが歌詞のなかで、いやらしいことを歌っているという。
ビートルズがちょうど流行りだした頃だ。
ある歌のなかで、確かによく聞いてみる、“ちつ”という言葉を繰り返している。
それは、医学的な専門用語のようなもので、いやらしい言葉とは少し違うが、なにしろ性には敏感な年頃だ。
それを見つけた、同級生は、得意げに言うのだ。
「一度聴いてみいや。これはそのものずばりのいやらしい歌や」というわけだ。

その歌のタイトルは、Baby　It’s　you,

ちつという言葉を知らない学友も多く、それを見つけた同級生は、そのことを知っていることを自慢したかっただけなのだろう。
今聴いても、たしかに”ちつ　ちつ“とは歌っている。英語では、”cheat chaet”で、意味は全く違う。

歌の内容は、ラブソングそのもので、他の誰がなんといおうと、嘘つき(cheat)と言おうと、そんなことは関係ない。
僕は君を愛しているという意味だ。

性に敏感な少年時代の、今となっては笑い話だね。
